Notes:

The population (15–64) size is estimated at 1 January 2011, and applied to January–December TDI data to obtain rates per 100 000. See ‘Sources’.

Percentages of cases covered refers to all treatment episodes/cases. When more than one report has been submitted the percentages of cases covered is back calculated on the basis of all clients entering treatment cases.

(1) In 2010 Latvia submitted a new dataset with a more precise TDI EMCDDA definition. Caution should be made when comparing data with previous years.

(2) In 2010 came into implementation a new national information system implying methodological changes particularly in the registration criteria. Caution should be made when comparing 2010 data with previous years.

(3) Data are from 1st of April 2010 to 31st March 2011.
